    INSECURITIES

    I'm just a girl,
With nothing but a billion dollar dreams
    And a billion dollar ideas
But sometimes I tend to wonder
If they'll ever become a reality
    Sometimes I doubt myself
To accomplish even the slightest of tasks
    I'm just a girl,
With nothing close to a perfect body
    I have flaws and imperfections
On some nights I soak my pillow in tears,
Crying about the freckles on my nose,
The fat that's on my belly,
Or of the stretch marks on my legs
And have you noticed the limp when I walk?
    I'm just a girl,
With nothing close to a perfect dental formula
    I've got crooked teeth
And probably a crooked smile too
And boy, have you heard my laugh!
Or saw the way my eyes close when I laugh
    I'm just a girl,
Writing these words to inspire a girl or a boy out there
I want you to know that you're the most beautiful painting in the room
I want you to know that you have the most intoxicating laughter
And eyes that remind me of the night sky
    I'm just a girl,
Who believes broken stories are the most beautiful ones!
