    Sinking in darkest corners,
I lay my head down in vain,
    Questioning these quiet voids,
That fill my lungs more often than burning cigarettes,
But all i find is shame,
In sins that are carved into my chest,
    Bleeding and weeping in silence,
Damned are these hours of self loathing,
    Where victim is the vulture,
Preying on helplessness of a heart that wanted to love,
But now it's too fogged out with pain,
    And the shivering anxious mind,
That suffering is an abode with the darkest corners,
Where I lay my head down in vain.
