Mermaid

If I were a mermaid
Traveling the cold, unforgiving sea
I'd swim swiftly with knowledge
Hiding in caves when need be
Knowing all the secret detours through out the ocean
I wouldn't have some stupid perceived notion of love on land
I'd stay where the beauty lay deep within colors of royal, turquoise, azure
No one would ever find me
