    To the ones who are pretending to be okay,

    The world can't see those dark patches beneath your eyes because your bright smile hides it well. I can see how broken you are and how much you have been controlling your emotions and tears.

    The world has seen your 'i-am-jolly-moment' and not the i-will-cry-any-minute-now' phase. Those sleepless nights when all you see is yourself in a dark room with tears of regrets. but, hey, that's okay. yes, that's okay. Maybe sadness prepares you for things which happiness can't. It makes you realise your worth.

    There will be moments when even you'd hate yourself. That self-loathe is so damaging for anyone, and it takes time to overcome that.

    But there is a light at the end of the tunnel. a couple of days ago, I saw a post that read, "you are happy when you bring out your emotions in the world." Life will always seem unfair because of the thing that broke you and made you stand in this place where you are sad and happy - all at once.

    We all have felt the kind of hurt which we just took to our heart and never told anyone about it. It happens. pretending has never helped in healing. feel the hurt. I know you are going through a terrible time in life, but hey, let's sit together and talk about what's killing us. A broken heart may help another broken one? let's heal and not pretend. Let's smile when we are happy. let's not pretend?
