The slushing of waves
Shushing a crying soul
The sky snowed in
Water swelled with grief
A lonesome almond rocked
Amidst the lives at sea
Braided wires clanking
The motor succumbs to no longer be
In such a bright night
The slushing of waves
A bright starless sky
A witness to waters enslaved
For there is no strangeness
In amorphous snow covering the sky
And dead grass blanketing the sea
To a crying soul.
