This lockdown brought so much things closer.. So many afar.
Socially distancing and Old habits are brought back again saying, enough of all do your own work for some time now.
We ran, ran and now we slowed down, somewhat we think,, made to think.
This year broke every hope.. But but.. In the huge dark forest, hope is like a small torch.. A very small torch, it cannot light up the whole forest before you but it can lit up your next step before stopping you from stumbling.... Have a great year ahead.. Read MoreI was sitting inside a coffee shop and she was sitting in front of me, About me I am an extrovert but I do not know why I was silent at that time.
I really did not have any idea why I was so nervous that day.
She: Can we go outside?
She was confused and by her expressions she wanted to end that meeting soon. On the other hand I was completely clueless.
Me: Sure!
She stood up and went away. She did not even look at me, I was furious and kept sitting there, silently.
Inner me: What is wrong with her? If she did not like me then why did she say yes for this meet up? I will tell this to my mother, she convinced me for all this bullshit.
But she returned back.
She: Can you please come?
Me: Sure! But your coffee?
She: Let it be! Come..
Me: Wait, Let me finish this one also.
And there was a big smile on her face and she started smiling by looking away.
She: Ohkay! I am waiting for you *Pause* Outside.
And she left and after few minutes I joined her.
Me: Hi
She looked at me, she was still smiling. I saw her smile, that smile raised my heart beat
She: Hi
She started walking and I followed her
Me: Where are we going?
She did not reply and moved ahead even I did not said after that and walked parallel to her.
Me: Can you please tell me where are we going? My mother only told me about this meeting and right now I am completely clueless what the hell am I doing here?
She: You came here to finish those 2 cup of coffee.
Me: Smart! *Pause* Seriously I do not like coffee at all but at the same time I do not want to waste 300 Rupees.
Again I paused for a moment and tried to initiate a conversation with her
Me: Don`t you like coffee?
She: Umm, Not really! I love chai more than a coffee *Pause* So, you know I am elder to you. 4 years elder to you and our parents are talking about our marriage
Me: Dude Is this our arrange marriage date? Mom did not tell me anything about it.
She gave me a weird look.
Me: I am kidding, I know everything but where the hell are we going?
She: I guess to our respective homes.
I become silent and it was 8 PM on clock street light, sounds of bus, car and bikes we were actually walking on a footpath.
I sat down there on the footpath nearby a tea stall. She looked at me and asked me why I was sitting there and I asked her to sit beside me, She did that without a second thought.
Me: Just wait, I am coming in just 2 minute *Pause*
She said okay and after couple of minutes I returned back with 2 cups of tea.
Me: Chai… Garmaa Garam Chai.. Chai Garmaa Garam…
She was smiling and she took her cup and we started a conversation.
Me: At least we should complete our formal conversation before going home.
She: Here on footpath?
Me: See those street light treat them as a candle light and trust me I will tell this to our Kids - this is how I met your mother *Pause* On footpath…. Sorry, I am kidding.
She: Hahaha! After finishing those full cups of coffee.
Me: Oh! God, I did not want to waste my money.
She: Yours?
Me: Our money! I mean your money
She: Haha! So, Why did you come here, and why are you ready for an arranged marriage?
Me: I am not getting any girl by my own, so now I am completely dependent on my parents may be some one will accept me.
She: Hahaha! But seriously tell me Do not you love someone?*Pause* Satyam
Me: Loved! I did
And I become serious she sensed my emotion and she put her hand on my shoulder.
She: Then?
Me: I really loved her like anything and I put every possible effort in that relationship every possible effort, I just put my whole fucking soul in that relationship but-
She: But?
Me: She went away.
That situation becomes intense and
She: Why?

She started laughing this time she tried to stopp herself but she could not.

Me: Okay, Now tell me why are you doing this, Family pressure? Your boyfriend?If you love someone please do not do this. Say NO to your family, our family and to our future kids because NO is not a word it is full sentence
She: Hahahaha! You are….. By the way I am happily single right now, I do not have any romantic feelings for anyone but my family pressurised me to meet you *Paused*Once I too loved someone.
Me: Ufff! So many broken hearts roaming around here and there.
She: Hahaha! I am happy with my life, Now time is up, Lets go.
Me: Can I please drop you? Please Anjali…Priya, Supriya, AryaPriya…
She: Seriously? Do not you know my name!
Me: I know your name, Kaushalya? Right
She: Shut up! My name is…
Me: Ahana, It means First ray of Sun. Can I please drop you?
She was blushing and I was very happy because I was the reason behind it

And I said wait for me here, I went on parking slot and took my bike from there and she sits behind me put her one hand on my shoulder and the journey begins
And I wanted to talk but I did not and later I dropped her at her home
She: You know, I already decided to say NO to you on our first meeting
Me: Then why did you not say that there? Tell me
She: Arey! Why so curious? *Pause* Will tell you tomorrow. Same location. Same timing! And same tea
And this raised my heartbeat even faster, I just said Okay and before going inside,
Me: Footpath…
And we both laughed she said bye to me
Me: Can I please come here to pick you?
She: Okay sure!
I said thank you to her and While returning back to my home I was just smiling and smiling
