LAY ME DOOM

As hot as it seems to be
As difficult as it seems to be
Dear me tell not another why me
For I travel with me in deep thought journey
Not to go astray in the wilderness of my mind
But to set right the me within me

I fear to lay me doom
But pray for me even as I am
Walk not in my own way for trouble looms
But pray that you find you no matter what

Someday and somehow I'll find me
Only then shall I rest to know me
Do not be confused, resist fear as it is
For you may never know
When the true you may come
So until then I'll keep searching not to lay me doom.

THE URHOBO I AM

Brought here by far back history
Given abilities and creativities
I am an opportunity not a liability
I am freedom in action and words
I am a peace of mind and life
And I never fear because this is the urhobo I am

So much to take in while I breath in,
the air of salvation and liberation
I am nation of hope and dreams
I am a breeder of generations
Not vulnerable to fear and deception
Not a controlled by other nations
Not tied down by ideas of other tribes
For in my culture is the true me
So judge not for this is the urhobo I am

Listen attentively to my rhythmical theme
For love has waxed cold my anger
Take my hands and follow me
Do not wallow in swallowed hopes
Let us shine together as the sun
For with me you will become the urhobo I am.

FREEDOM LANDS

Take heed no longer
For time is nearer than we thought
As swift as the wind we must be
For in waters are fenceless bridges
Liberate your lands from fowl spirits
For we must live in freedom land

Put your voices across the oceans
Let the streams ring your bells
For victory must surely come
If it takes the streets to blackout
So be it, for peace commeth in freedom land

Stand behind your fallen brother
Live never to be bound by Lauders
For this days are as dark as the nights
So oh knights of victory
Be relentless to get freedom land!
