Greetings and salutations to all of you marvelously, majestic, magical Mirakeeans!! Little bit of alliteration for ya right there. I hope everybody had a wonderful weekend. I got to attend a Masquerade Ball at my handsome hubby's place of employment, where we were regaled with the delightful sounds of the local symphony orchestra. Due to my physical health and the fact that I'm a homebody by nature, we don't get out all that much, so it was fun to get all dressed up and head out with my best guy. Such an enchanting evening it was, that I was led to the following idea for Monday's challenge. It's still early Sunday evening for me, here in the southeastern U.S., but I know that it's already Monday for many of you, so I figured I'd forge ahead.
CHALLENGE RULES: You are to write a magical tale of enchantment (can be a short story or a poem, not a really short piece or a quote). This should be a positive/happy piece (and rated PG please, as far as words and image), that leaves the reader feeling dazzled, mesmerized and spellbound. Posts must be written in English please.
HASHTAG INFO: Please be sure to include the #ceesmonmagic hashtag in your caption area (be sure to spell correctly) so that I can easily find your submission.
IMAGE INFO: An image isn't mandatory for this challenge, but it is preferable. Something dazzling and of course magical would be particularly wonderful (and again a reminder to keep it PG please).
DURATION: This is posting at approximately 7:30 pm (eastern standard time), and will run for approximately 24 hours. The challenge is over when I mark it as 'closed' in the image and caption areas.
*SIDE NOTE: Members who aren't actually participating in the challenges have started using the hashtags, so to save on my time and frustration levels, I'd really appreciate it if you could MENTION THAT YOU'RE PARTICIPATING IN THE CHALLENGE. Sometimes it's hard to tell whether it's an actual challenge piece or not, and I certainly don't want to overlook anyone. Thank you.
