When you see the horizon fade into the darkness of night you don't try to hold the sun in your palm and ask it to stay bit longer, you just stand there admiring the metamorphosis of sky at dusk.
When you watch those golden leaves fall from boughs of maple, you don't make an attempt to pick them up one by one glue back to its branches, you just let autumn unfold the beauty on its own.
When you feel the sand in your toes slipping back along with flow at sea-shore while standing among the wild waves, you don't grasp it tight between your toes hoping it to tickle your feet bit more, you just breath in the moment and let go.
But when it comes to people, why do you try so hard to make them stay, as if you've to complete some "Things to do" or "check boxes" in "Checklist"of events that can make them stay?
So what does it take to make someone stay?
Maybe nothing much, just their willingness.
Coz, leaving or staying of people is as natural as the sunset, the fall, the back and forth of waves in the ocean... and all you can do about it is, just admire when it's there and accept when it's gone.
