My weakened knees
Tremble in fear

How could I travel

Magnificent views I see afar
Limousine and fancy cars
My world shook
And dust covered the nook.
My confidence fall
On seeing gigantic walls
I think and think
How could I still
Feel so small?
"Everyday is new"
Is completely untrue
Hiding all my vulnerabilities
I masquerade in purple inks
Saturated and exhausted
Intoxicating me somehow
I think and think
How could I hide
The real me?
Then it hit me
Being afraid is not weakness
Dreaming high adds no hubris
Slow pace is not a failure
As long as I can walk
