Feigned Ignorance of Inner Worlds •~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~• We just see what we wanna see That’s what we humans do We look into people’s eyes Or up to the moonlit skies And believe a truth We design in our own mind
We dismiss the sparkling glints In the orbs between eyelids As glittering joy or reflections of light We read their gaze as if it's saying, "Yeah, I'm alright" Rather than the reality Of a world flooded with sorrow And raining silent tears unlikely To be evaporated puddles by ‘morrow
We ignore what nature dangles Above our heads at nighttime Treating the moon like a disco ball With complete passivity Thinking, “Oh, it’s only a little shiny” While its phases swing to and fro- A pendulum always coming back home Yet we utterly waste The time in between When what we could’ve done Was something right for a change We never stop to ponder Perhaps what’s behind those shades The weight each phase carries Whilst it shows us only one face ‘Neath layers under its craters Lies a world waiting to be understood But we, the beholders, Are blind by choice Not by circumstances unfortunate
There’s a world inside all of us Like there’s a world inside the moon But when fear makes one hesitate To show their true self to the stars We avoid landing our fallen wishes Beyond the veneer of a silicon-clad soul And pass over their sky Pretending we never saw The ground belonging to that moon

I've decided, for literally no reason at all, to find a song that relates to each challenge, (very distantly or closely) in a way, and post the link in the cyan_rose bio every time I post one ~ Granted, not all the songs will be worth recommending because it'll be harder to find a suitable one for some challenges, but, I mean, at least you get the nice idea behind it, right? ♀️♀️
Today's is... Don't Wake Me Up by Chris Brown _______
Inspiration for this challenge: ✨✨
So... Not too long ago, I woke up to an alarm- that alarm being the fireworks exploding outside my bedroom window ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We feel ashamed in admitting Things Be it love , Or sin. We never like to admit.
We like things to be easy, So we don't complicate things So we compromise where we shouldn't. We say sorry to people Who we shouldn't have talked to in the first place. And some of us stay into relationship No matter how toxic it is For the sake of love..
Honey If it's love it isn't supposed to be toxic
If there's toxicity There's no love And vice versa..
What we do? When we get ourselves heartbroken. Let's just blame the word 'love'
Love sucks. It's useless.
Honey It's your choices suck. Not love. You need to work on your choices..
You say it's hard to leave people. So ? How do you expect leaving people to be.? How can someone find leaving some easy.. It's like that only.. You gotta do what you gotta do.. Stop running after humans. And there are also Some sweethearts..(me too )
Who trying to be the better one Take all the blames on their own shoulders. Thinking It's them who is wrong. They don't deserve to be loved. They should stay happy alone. The person who break their hearts deserved better.. For God's sake People breaking hearts don't deserve love in the first place Stop being good every fucking time Start being nice to your own self..
Life is way too small To not love your own self.. Let go of toxicity. Fall in love Make friends. Keep smiling..
